Cancelled- Art and Class workshop w/SAU & SWCN

Unfortunately due to illness todays workshop has been cancelled.

Scottish Artist Union Learning and Scottish Working Class Network present a new workshop on class in the art sector, led by Hayley Jane Dawson.

This workshop will provide an overview of class based oppression and exclusion in the art sector as well as the an understanding of the systemic reasons why class persistently determines the ability to access art and culture and participate in its production.

The workshop will also provide a space for participants to share their knowledge of working class issues in contemporary art with the aim of developing solidaristic strategies to fight against class oppression in the art sector.

The workshop proper will run from 1pm — 4pm but feel free to join us from 12pm for an lunch and chat. Food & refreshments will be provided!

The workshop is free and open to all but registration is required.
