Against Capture: Writing Workshop

Alongside our February exhibition ‘Against Capture’, we will be running a series of workshops responding to the themes of the show. The first of these is a writing workshop run by committee member Gabriel.

We’ll look at different approaches to writing about exhibitions, particularly those featuring photography, and develop creative/critical responses to the works in the show. This workshop will serve as an introduction to the themes of ‘Against Capture’ and to art writing practices more generally. If you’re interested in developing your skills in writing about art, do come along!

Participants will have the opportunity to read their responses at our closing event on Saturday 7th March and have their writing collected in a small publication documenting the show.
