Against Capture: Printing with Sustainable Processes

Printing with Sustainable Processes
Alongside our February exhibition ‘Against Capture’, we will be running a series of workshops responding to the themes of the show. The second of these is a workshop on darkroom printing using sustainable processes run by committee member Alice.
In this workshop we will be making sustainable developers to print (pre-developed) negatives into images. We will be exploring what sustainable processes mean for our relationship with the image and playing with ways we can disrupt and distort the image through the printing process.
This workshop will take place in our temporary DIY darkroom that is currently installed in EMBASSY. As space in the darkroom is limited, you must book a free ticket here in order to attend.
All are welcome, absolutely no previous darkroom experience is required. All materials will be provided by EMBASSY but please bring along any developed negatives you have. These can be either colour or Black and White. We will have some available for those who don’t have any. Any questions, please do get in touch via email.
